About Colour

colourlogo_squarethumbColour: Unique and intimate live music events based in the West Midlands, showcasing boundary defying left-field and independent artists. We aim to offer an inviting and experience set apart from the usual gig, so expect live visuals, homemade cakes and DJ sets that compliment what’s going on.

Colour has gone through various incarnations and venues, but is currently settled in Birmingham, UK. As well as our own events, we’ve collaborated with Flatpack Film Festival, Light House media centre and Ikon Gallery.

This is our online home and features information about what we’re up to and passionate outpourings about the music and culture we love.

Musicians

Interested in playing at one of our events and think you’d suit what we do? Please drop us an email with links to your recordings/videos/website. There are many reasons to get involved:

  • We’re experienced at promoting and marketing unique events that have a concept behind them. We only book artists and put together events that we love, so we’re always passionate about spreading the word.
  • Our promotion has depth to it and embraces printed material, the press and online social media. We have a good understanding of the music culture we’re a part of and are enthusiastic about live music in the region.
  • There’s a sense of community to each night, with everyone working hard to make sure it’s a fun night for all involved.
  • We always try to build relationships with our artists and will feature future endeavours on our site and work with musicians on future events.
  • There are usually a wealth of high-quality photographs and videos taken at an event which we’re happy for our artists to use in future.
